Paryavaran Mitra-Young Leader for Change 2013

Inviting action plans from students of class 6-9 for carrying out exciting action projects to address local environmental issues. Students will be guided by the team at CEE and mentored by 2012 alumni in all their efforts. Students completing their action projects get nominated for the Paryavaran Mitra Best Student Award at the Puraskar and several other national and international opportunities to showcase their work. Moving beyond awareness through the Paryavaran Mitra Programme

Environment Education resource in Hindi-Biodiversity of the River Ganga

CEE North has joined hands with DLA Group of Publication under its Paryavaran Mitra initiative. Under the association, CEE as knowledge partner contributes one page fortnightly features on environmental issues and concerns for the DLA newspaper. Its daily, midmorning Hindi newspaper reaches out to Western UP with editions in Agra, Meerut, Jhansi and Delhi. Read the latest fortnightly column here

 

 

Earth Day Celebrations

 

Earth Day at D.A.V.P.S Pushpanjali, Delhi for students, teaching and non-teaching staff.

The school celebrated earth day with the students, teaching and non-teaching staff as the school believes that ‘the message of saving our natural resources and mother earth should go to everyone, it should be a continuous process and every day should be earth day.’ Every wing ,and every student of the school was involved. Of the myriad activities that kept everyone in the school busy, they managed to make approx. 435 paper bags! here…

 

Earth Day at Jharkhand

CEE Jharkhand conducted two day- Paryavaran Mitra Mela at Daltanganj to celebrate mother earth day on 21st & 22nd April 2013 in partnership with the Earth Day Network, Paryavaran Mitra partner NGOs and GEF UNDP/SGP NGOs. 350 students from 10 schools of Daltanganj participated in various competitions like Essay, Painting, Extempore, Recitation, Quiz and film show, all related to the theme of Climate Change. read here...

 

Earth Day at Diu & Daman

A 5-day nature exploration and painting workshop was conducted in Diu by the CEE Western Regional Cell and Bal Bhawan for celebrating Earth Day . The workshop brought together 30 particitants from Rajasthan and Gujarat, Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli. Creative hands-on experience activities like slogan writing, sand sculpturing; nest making were organised along with visits to explore various ecological, cultural and heritage sites of Diu. Earth Day celebration at Jaipur

CEE Jaipur in association with Rajasthan State Bharat Scouts and Guides celebrated Earth Day with 250 students. The event included activities like movie screening on climate change followed by interactive discussion. Poster making competition, slogan writing and an audio-visual environmental quiz on themes ranging from climate change, food, biodiversity, waste management, culture and heritage, water and general environment.
