The Poster
As you may know, on the World International Day for Biodiversity, the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India launched a special educational poster on this year’s theme, 'Water and Biodiversity'. The Centre for Environment Education has developed an interactive poster, “Water is Life” on behalf of the Ministry.
An Interactive Resource
The poster on two colours would come alive when the student to fill-in colours and give a title in their own language. It also invites the viewers to identify and name the local natural features and to establish a familiar context.
The poster could serve as a useful educational resource for the educators to help their students start a discussion on the importance of water for all life forms and the precious nature of water!
Ministry of Environment has announced a poster competition for the schools with over fifty attractive prizes to be won by the school students.
